One package with a directly comparable 2026 and 2027 figure is the only clean year-on-year data point on the public card. It is quoted here because it is verifiable, not because every boat moved by the same amount.

What the season band does inside 2027
Most Labuan Bajo operators run a low / shoulder / peak structure rather than a single flat rate. The bands map onto the weather and the school calendars:

Four things that move a quote more than the season
People fixate on the month and underweight the levers that actually swing the number.
- Which hull. The published fleet spans USD 1,800 to USD 27,000 a night — a factor of fifteen. No seasonal band comes close to that. In rupiah the same card runs from IDR 52,750,000 to IDR 142,000,000 a night at the top end.
- Cabins against length. A 40-metre hull with six cabins costs more per guest than a 40-metre hull with ten. You are buying volume per person, and it is the single least visible driver on any brochure.

- Duration. Nightly rates do not fall with length, but the fixed costs — flights, park entry, the pre-cruise hotel night — amortise. A 4D3N costs more in total and less per day of holiday.
How to read a 2027 quote without getting caught
Three checks. First, confirm the sheet year: a 2026 figure found on a third-party page is a floor, not a quote, and at least one package moved 15–16 per cent. Second, get the inclusions in writing — cabins, meals, water and snorkel gear are normally inside; park entry, alcohol, certified diving, drone permits and gratuities are normally outside. Third, check whether the park fee quoted is the legal tariff of IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor under PP 36/2024 or a bundle of IDR 600,000–900,000 that also contains regional levies and ranger fees. Both appear in the market and only one is the park ticket.
